Coming from a family of dentists, Dr Haidar has followed his father’s footsteps and applied himself to this field. He has extensive experience offering cosmetic dentistry and orthodontics to a wide group of people. Having graduated with his BDS from Otago University he found experience in rural dentistry and then came back to be closer to his family in Wellington. When the opportunity came to be part of a new team and new clinic that is looking to provide the best of the best treatment to the people in Wellington, he jumped at the idea.
He is a proud father of 3 (2 boys and a girl) and is experienced in all aspects of dentistry. Dr Haidar is passionate about meeting people and their families. He loves to help guide and treat them to better oral health. When he’s not in the clinic (which is hardly ever), he spends time with his two boys and wee girl and sometimes you may seem them strolling around the Hutt.

Imad graduated from the University of Otago with a degree in Bachelor of Dental Surgery. He completed a diploma course in Primary Care Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. He worked in a private practice in Auckland and Palmerston North before relocating to Wellington to join Central Hutt Dental. Recently, Imad achieved the Membership of the Faculty of Dentistry from the Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland. Born and raised in Oman, he is able to communicate in English and Arabic.
Imad Strongly believes that good oral health is a key factor in good general health. Thus, he devotes a great amount of time developing new dental skills and staying up to date with the latest dental technology. Imad enjoys all aspects of dentistry helping patients to take control of their oral health. His calm nature makes him particularly good at treating patients with dental anxiety.
Aside from dentistry, Imad enjoys photography and music and loves cooking, travelling and exploring new places.
Dr. Alexander Fang is a General Dentist who takes pride in taking his time to do detailed work. Dr. Fang takes pride in always taking time to explain to his patients all of their treatment options. He received his DDS from the University of Toronto in Canada and is here to explore beautiful New Zealand.
Alex has invested many hours in additional Continuing Education courses spanning in Fixed Orthodontics, Implants, and Sleep Airway Management. He believes in taking care of the patient as a person and not a tooth.
Outside of work, Dr. Fang enjoys cooking and is an avid supporter of Arsenal Football Club.

Kamal graduated from University of Otago with a Bachelor of Oral Health in 2015. She has been practising as a dental hygienist since her graduation.
Kamal is an extremely passionate Dental Hygienist, she enjoys encouraging patients and guiding them through their oral heath journey in a step-by-step manner, including ways to care and look after their dental prosthesis – Prevention is key.
Outside of work Kamal enjoys spending time with family and friends and adventuring to wellington restaurants.
Flew to NZ for my degree in BA (Media Studies) but fell in love with dentistry the minute I started working as a dental assistant. I find it fascinating how dental work is similar to art. Even better! Seeing how the dentist could do ‘editing’ on patients’ teeth for a better smile has been keeping me in this field.
I am eager to learn. My goal is to gain knowledge as much as I can and enhance my skills alongside the dentist I’m working with. I believe providing the best assistance to the dentist can create a favourable patient’s experience and outcome.
When I’m off work, I love to go out and take photos. Most times, I spend my day cleaning, organising and decorating.
I enjoy helping patients and distracting them when i can sense they are nervous. I like how there is always a task. Every day is different. It is so rewarding to see people walk away with no pain when they leave our dental clinic
When I applied to the Central Hutt Dental for the first time, I felt it was a really very big challenge for me.
After I started working with them, they were so friendly feeding more things to learn how to be a perfect Front office co-ordinator, also I started enjoying the job.
