Being told that you need braces may be alarming, especially if you are worried about the appearance of brackets, rubber bands, and wires. The good news is that the Invisalign system will give you the same results as traditional braces but without taking away from your natural smile. And it is comfortable, too.
Invisalign is essentially a series of hard plastic aligners—moulded to create a tray that fits around your teeth—that can fix issues like an overbite, underbite, open bite, and crossbite.
The Invisalign Process
If you feel Invisalign is right for you, you can book an appointment for a consultation and digital scan of your teeth. The digital planning will help your orthodontist create a multi-dimensional sample and create phases for your Invisalign treatment. Once you and your orthodontist agree on a treatment plan, you will then receive a pack of aligners to change at home biweekly.
