We love our environmentally friendly brushes! But only for that reason… It is hard to manufacture a bamboo/wooden toothbrush with bendable heads and helpful tapered bristles. If you want to be contributing to the environment, then this is the toothbrush for you.
Sensodyne is onto something here, although the handle isn’t as flexible it does have a soft grip. The supermarket toothbrushes are designed for the consumer, they feature large heads, firmer toothbrush bristles and are just bigger overall. What is not common knowledge, is that softer toothbrushes are better. The aim of brushing is to remove the soft plaque build up. So really only a soft brush is required. A medium or firm brush can cause irreversible loss of the tooth and gum structure.
